A journal of property management

The
Rentari.ai
Journal.

Plain-English writing on the actual work of being a landlord. No clickbait, no fake stats, no recycled SEO. Written by the team that builds Rentari.ai.

We'll email you when a new piece goes live. No other emails.

What we write about

Honest writing about the parts of being a landlord nobody else covers.

Each piece ties back to a real workflow inside the Rentari.ai platform, so what you read is what we actually do. We source every claim and skip the SEO fluff that fills most property-management blogs.

  • Original writing only. No syndicated filler.
  • Every legal claim cites the underlying statute.
  • Every "data" claim cites a source you can verify.
  • We mark anything written by AI tooling.

Editorial standards

How we'll handle the truth.

A short, public commitment for everything we publish here.

No invented quotes or stats.

Every statistic links to its source. Every quote is on the record. If we don't have a real number, we say "we don't know yet" instead of inventing one.

Legal claims cite the statute.

When we write about a state or federal rental rule, the relevant section number is in the article. You can verify it without leaving our page.

AI assistance is disclosed.

If a piece used Rentari.ai's own AI tooling for drafting, summarizing, or research, we mark it inline. Final judgement is always a human's.

Corrections, not deletions.

If we get something wrong, we correct it in place with a dated note. Nothing goes down the memory hole.

On the desk

Articles & topics.

Each piece is a real long-form article tied to a Rentari.ai workflow you can use today. Filter by department, search by keyword, or browse the latest below.

Meet Mozart: the first property software AI that does the work, not just the chat.

Every property tool now has the word AI on its homepage. Almost all of them mean a chatbot. We built something else, and I think it's the first of its kind. We call it Mozart, and it does the actual work: drafts the lease, opens the ticket, lines up the steps, then waits for you to approve. Here is what it is, what it refuses to do, and why no one else has shipped it yet.

About the editor

Written, for now, by one person.

Every piece launching with the journal is written by Zahed Khan, the founder and CEO of Rentari.ai. As the team grows, we'll list contributing writers here by name, with their bios and the pieces they've written. We won't ghostwrite under fake bylines.

If you have a topic you wish someone would cover honestly, email info@rentari.ai. The first journal pieces will go to subscribers a week before they go public.
