Here is what landed on Rentari in the last week. Everything below is live in the product today, not on a roadmap.

Maintenance visits now coordinate themselves

Booking a vendor was never the hard part. The hours go on everything between the booking and the finished job: getting a time agreed, chasing the side that has gone quiet, reminding both the day before, and rearranging it when someone cannot make it.

Rentari now handles that stretch. You put a window on the work order, or your vendor proposes one from their own portal. The tenant and the vendor each confirm, and the ticket shows you which side is holding things up. Whoever goes quiet gets chased as the visit approaches. The day before, in the property's own local time, the tenant is reminded that someone is coming and the vendor is reminded they are expected. Either side can ask to move the appointment, which puts it back on your board with their reason attached. If a job closes with no photos of the work, the vendor is asked once for them.

Luna Skills: the script your AI follows on a repair

Fifteen maintenance scenarios now ship with a full script: no heat, a water leak, a blocked drain, a lockout, pests, and the rest. When a tenant describes a problem, Rentari matches their words to the right skill and follows that script instead of improvising, whether the tenant typed it, texted it, or called and spoke to Luna.

Every skill is yours to edit, switch off, or clone into something specific to your buildings, and each one carries its own default vendor. The life-safety check sits outside the scripts entirely: gas, fire, carbon monoxide, sparking, a collapse or someone trapped is caught before any script runs and cannot be edited away. You can also see how each skill is actually performing, and there is a kill switch if you want the AI out of the loop.

Screening in one place

Background checks used to be spread across three half-finished pages. They are now a single page carrying both flows, so running a check and reading the report are the same journey rather than a hunt.

Connect your own AI

Rentari now has a real page for connecting an outside AI assistant to your portfolio, so the tools you already use can read what is going on without you copying and pasting between them.

The tenant portal stops saying things that are not true

A run through the tenant payment experience turned up several places where the portal and the ledger disagreed, and the portal was the one that was wrong. Those now agree. Related: tenants who had already added a payment method were being asked to add one again on every reload. They are not anymore.

Smaller things worth knowing

  • Fill all with AI on a multi-unit property now actually fills the other units instead of only the one in front of you, and it will not overwrite a unit that is already live.
  • The tenants roster was rebuilt around what it is actually for, and the Invites tab picked up nine fixes found by reading real production data. Cancelling an invite now leaves a record you can see.
  • Property features and amenities you had already entered were being saved and never shown. They are on the property page now.
  • Automated tenant reminders moved to where landlords actually look for them.

If something here does not behave the way this describes, tell us and we will fix it rather than explain it.
