Renters Insurance Tracking

Insurance on file, never silently lapsed.

Your lease says renters insurance is required. Rentari.ai makes it true: tenants upload any carrier's declarations page, the AI reads the policy details, and the expiry date starts watching itself. You find out about a gap from a reminder, not from a claim.

Built for landlords who require coverage and are done texting tenants for proof.

The renewal ladder

Reminders run themselves. Expiry flags itself.

As the end date approaches, the tenant is reminded at 30, 14, 7, and 1 days out to upload their renewal, by email and in-app. The day a policy lapses, its status flips to expired on its own and you get an alert. Timing and channels are yours to tune in reminder settings.

Required means required

Require it on the lease, then stop chasing.

Mark insurance required on the lease and the follow-up is no longer your job. A tenant who moves in without coverage is reminded at 7, 14, 30, and 60 days, you are told about the gap, and the moment a policy is uploaded it lands on your desk as a clean, AI-read summary pending your review.

Any carrier Tenants keep the choice. They upload the declarations page from whichever insurer they like, and if they do not have coverage yet, the portal can pull quotes from partner carriers in a couple of minutes. No forced product, no markup on a policy.

Renters insurance questions

Do tenants have to buy insurance through Rentari.ai?
No. Tenants upload the declarations page from any carrier they choose. The portal can also pull quotes from partner carriers in a couple of minutes if they do not have a policy yet.
What happens when a policy expires?
The policy status flips to expired automatically, the tenant gets renewal reminders at 30, 14, 7, and 1 days before the end date, and you get an alert so nothing lapses silently.
Can I require insurance on the lease?
Yes. Flip the requirement on the lease and Rentari.ai follows up on its own: if no policy is on file, the tenant is reminded at 7, 14, 30, and 60 days after move-in, and you are notified about the gap.
How does the AI reading work?
When a tenant uploads their declarations page, the AI extracts the carrier, policy number, coverage amounts, and dates so you can review a clean summary instead of a scanned PDF. You approve what lands on the lease file.

Coverage you can prove, without the chase.

Require insurance on your next lease and let the uploads, reminders, and expiry alerts run themselves.
