Landlords Documents

Choose a lease document and signing workflow

Build an agreement for a lease, store an existing file or prepare your own document for signature.

Before you start

  • Have the intended property and lease details ready. The former Document Studio link now opens the lease agreement picker.

Build a new lease agreement

Action: Open the agreement picker and select the lease that needs an agreement. If no lease is listed, use Add new lease first. Follow Build a lease agreement to complete the current agreement sections and review the generated document. Review its terms for your situation; generation does not establish legal compliance.

Store a document you already have

Action: Use Documents, then Upload documents. Choose the rental and review the privacy setting before uploading the file. Use Find and store documents to locate the saved file. A successful upload does not mean the file was sent for signature.

Prepare signatures or an addendum

Action: For your own agreement, choose the e-sign option in the upload flow or Get it e-signed on a stored document when available. Review the document and signer fields before sending. Use Prepare your own document for e-signature for that flow. For a change to an existing lease, use Create a lease addendum and select the supported change type.

A generated draft and a pending signature request are not a fully signed agreement.

Check the result

  • You can choose whether to build an agreement, store a file or prepare a signature request.
