Landlords Documents

Prepare your own document for e-signature

Upload an existing agreement and continue to signature preparation.

Before you start

  • Use the intended document version and confirm its rental and signer emails. Decide which pages need signatures, initials or other fields before sending.

Upload and prepare

  1. Open Upload a document and choose the file you intend to send.
  2. Give it a clear Title, choose its Category and select the correct Rental when shown.
  3. Select Get it e-signed, then choose Upload to continue to signature preparation.
  4. Review the document, intended signers and required fields in the preparation flow before sending the request.
  5. After sending, open E-Sign to follow the request status.

If the document is already stored

Open its action menu in Documents and use Get it e-signed when available. Uploading a file alone does not send a signature request, and a request that is still in progress is not a fully signed document.

Check the result

  • After preparation and successful sending, the e-sign tracker shows the request and signer states. Uploading or placing fields alone does not complete a signature request.

Troubleshooting & questions

I uploaded the file with Get it e-signed. Why has nobody received it?

That choice continues to preparation. Finish the fields, signers and send step, then verify the request in the e-sign tracker.

Can I use this just to store a document that is already signed?

Yes. Upload it to Documents with the correct rental and privacy settings, and leave Get it e-signed unselected when another signature request is not needed.

Does listing an attachment name place that file into the signature package?

No. Inspect the actual package and its pages before sending. A text reference or separate upload is not confirmation that the file is part of this request.
