Share a listing with a prospect

Review an email or text share in Rentari, send it to an eligible prospect, and follow the recorded outcome.

Before you start

  • Open Marketing for the correct live listing and confirm its public page. The intended recipient must be an existing prospect.
  • Check the prospect's contact details and recorded text permission. Only eligible email or text options can be selected.

Review and send the share

  1. Open the property Marketing page and choose Email or text listing for the correct live listing.
  2. Choose the Prospect, then select an available Email, Text message, or Email and text option under Send using.
  3. Edit the Message and choose Review share. Read the complete message and recipient for each selected channel, including the links that will be included.
  4. Select the confirmation that you reviewed each recipient and complete message, then choose Send reviewed share.
  5. Read Share history and use Refresh outcomes for updates. If the result is uncertain, use the retained Check or retry the same send action instead of creating a new share.

Understand outcomes and replies

Each selected channel has its own outcome. Accepted means the sending service accepted the request; carrier status is separate. Link visits can include automated checks and do not prove the prospect read the message.

When the prospect has an email address, a separate private conversation link lets them reply in Rentari. Native text replies are not recorded here; STOP still opts out. Copy message copies content without sending or tracking it.

Check the result

  • After submission, Share history records each channel and its current sending outcome. Review share alone sends nothing.
  • You can distinguish a sending-service result, a carrier update and a link visit without treating them as proof of a reply or a completed application.

Troubleshooting & questions

Why is Review share or a delivery option unavailable?

Choose an existing prospect and read the eligibility message for each channel. Check the prospect's email or phone and recorded text permission in their profile. An unavailable channel cannot be made eligible just by editing the message.

Does Accepted or a link visit mean the prospect read my message?

No. Accepted describes the sending service's response. Carrier status is shown separately, and link visits can include automated checks. A reply is separate evidence; native text replies are not recorded in this share history.

A request timed out. How do I avoid sending a duplicate?

Refresh outcomes and use Check or retry the same send when the interface retains it. For a recorded failed submission, use Retry failed submission only when offered. Do not start a new share merely because the original result is uncertain. Copy message remains separate and does not send or track anything.
