Before you start
- Open Lease Profiles in the landlord portal. A lease profile stores the tenancy details; preparing and signing its agreement is a separate part of setup.
Choose active or past leases
Action: Use Active leases for the Current lease, Upcoming lease and Draft lease groups. Use Past leases for ended leases. The cards show the lease name, tenant names or address, lease term and unpaid charges. The Ending soon label identifies a recorded end date within the next 90 days. Review the actual term on the lease instead of treating that label as a renewal notice.
Open the lease you need
Action: Select the lease name to open its summary. Use the action shown on its card, such as View payments, Add tenants or Finish lease setup, for the next available step. A draft or setup page is not evidence that everyone signed. Review the agreement and signing status separately before treating the document as completed.
Start a profile or prepare its agreement
Action: Use Add new lease when you need a new tenancy record. After creating it, the chooser offers Get a Lease Agreement, Get a Document E-Signed, Store a Lease Document, Add a Charge and Add Tenants. Choose the task you actually need. Uploading a document only stores it; preparing an agreement or signature request does not complete the signatures. Use Build a lease agreement for the current agreement form.
Check the result
- The selected lease profile opens its recorded term, people and charges.
