Fix a sideways listing photo
Download a rotated copy and upload the corrected image.

Before you start
- Choose an uploaded photo from the correct rental. Keep a copy of the original if you may need it later.
Replace the sideways image
- Open the listing Photos step and the photo rotation tool for the affected image.
- Use Rotate left or Rotate right until the preview has the correct orientation.
- Choose Download copy and save the corrected image to your device.
- Upload that copy to the listing and check its preview.
- If it replaces the cover, choose Make cover on the corrected image. Remove the old image only after the new upload succeeds.
Why Save rotation is unavailable
The rotation tool cannot overwrite the stored original. Rotating the preview alone does not change the published photo.
Check the result
- Save updates the listing photo after the server confirms it. Download rotated copy creates a separate file on your device.
Troubleshooting & questions
I rotated the preview. Why is the listing unchanged?
Rotation in the dialog is a preview until you select Save. Downloading a rotated copy also does not update the listing.
Why is Save disabled or the rotation rejected?
Choose a nonzero rotation and allow the photo details to load. If the photo changed in another tab or a save cannot be confirmed, reload Photos and reopen the current image before trying again.
