Category narrows it further: deposits, evictions, habitability, fair housing, rent control. Most landlords care about two of those.

Introduced is a proposal and most die. Enacted is law and has a date attached.

The useful setting is somewhere between: a bill that has passed a chamber is worth reading now, because if it lands you will have weeks rather than months.

Worth knowingA deposit cap or a notice-period change is the kind that quietly invalidates a clause in a lease you are already using. Those are the ones worth a calendar reminder.
